What is DIGITAL MARKETING?

Digital marketing is the component of marketing that uses the Internet & online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones & other digital media & platforms to promote products & services. As digital platforms became increasingly incorporated into marketing plans & everyday life, & as people increasingly use digital devices instead of visiting physical shops, digital marketing campaigns have become prevalent, employing combinations of search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, influencer marketing, content automation, campaign marketing, data-driven marketing, e-commerce marketing, social media marketing, social media optimization, e-mail direct marketing, display advertising, e–books, & optical disks & games have become commonplace. Digital marketing extends to non-Internet channels that provide digital media, such as television, mobile phones (SMS & MMS), callback, & on-hold mobile ring tones. The extension to non-Internet channels is considered in general as online advertising.

Is SEARCH ENGINE
OPTIMIZATION
free?

Search Engine Optimization is the macro equivalent of PPC campaigns and it's not free.

This is also a question that gets asked a lot, and the answer isn't always clear. Generally speaking, SEO (search engine optimization) is the process of improving the visibility and ranking of a website or web page in search engine results pages (SERPs). This can be done through optimizing the website content, structure, and on-page elements like titles, metatags, and anchor text.

While there are many free SEO tools and resources available online, it takes time and effort to use them effectively. In addition, most businesses will need to hire an experienced SEO professional to help them achieve their desired results. The cost of SEO can vary depending on the size and scope of the project, but it is typically an ongoing expense. So, while SEO is not free, it can be a worthwhile investment for businesses that want to improve their visibility and attract more customers online.

Marketing

eCommerce marketing can be a great way to reach new customers and grow your business. However, it can also be a lot of work and expensive. So, is eCommerce marketing worth it?

Here are some things to consider when deciding if eCommerce marketing is right for your business:

  • Your goals. What do you hope to achieve with eCommerce marketing? If you want to increase brand awareness or drive more sales, eCommerce marketing can help. But, if you’re not sure what you want to accomplish, it may not be the best use of your time and resources.

  • Your budget. eCommerce marketing can be costly, especially if you’re just starting out. You’ll need to factor in the cost of hiring a specialist, buying eCommerce marketing software, and running eCommerce ads. If you don’t have a large budget, eCommerce marketing may not be right for you.

  • Your audience. eCommerce marketing is most effective when you target your content and ads to a specific audience. So, if you know who your ideal customer is, eCommerce marketing can be a great way to reach them. But, if you’re not sure who your target audience is, eCommerce marketing may not be the best option.

  • Your competitors. eCommerce is a competitive landscape. If your competitors are using eCommerce marketing and you’re not, you may be at a disadvantage. But, if your competitors aren’t using eCommerce marketing, you may have an opportunity to gain an edge.

  • Your eCommerce platform. eCommerce marketing can be complex, and it may not be compatible with all eCommerce platforms. So, before you invest in eCommerce marketing, make sure it will work with your eCommerce platform.

  • Your commitment level. eCommerce marketing requires time and effort to be successful. If you’re not committed to regularly creating new content and running eCommerce ads, it may not be worth your while.

So, does eCommerce marketing worth it? It depends on your individual business goals, budget, audience, and commitment level. If you’re not sure eCommerce marketing is right for you, talk to an eCommerce marketing specialist to get more advice.

AUTOMATIONS

There are a variety of marketing automations that you can use to help streamline and improve your marketing efforts. Here are just a few examples:

  • Email marketing automation: This can be used to send out automated emails to your customers or prospects, such as welcome emails, follow-up emails, or promotional offers.

  • Social media automation: You can use tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to help schedule and publish your social media posts in advance. This can save you time and help ensure that your content is being seen by your audience.

  • Website tracking: Using tools like Google Analytics, you can track how visitors are interacting with your website. This information can be used to improve your website's design and user experience.

  • Lead capture: Automated lead capture forms can help you gather information from potential customers on your website. This information can then be used to follow up with the leads and convert them into customers.

By using marketing automations, you can free up time to focus on other aspects of your business while still staying on top of your marketing efforts. If you're not sure which automations would be right for you, talk to a marketing consultant or agency to get started.
